I'm not into hentai all that much. But I've seen lots of things. Trust me, you can find porn made from just about every cartoon out there, both Japanese and American. I'm not going to say any more as I don't want to sound like a creepy guy/pedophile or anything like that.

The point was that any medium can be used to arouse. So can anime. Your disagreement is not whether anime can arouse, but why Hentai arouses.

I'd say that nugget porn is probaby far worse than most (likely all) anime porn. This is based wholly on conjecture, though, since I can't say that I've actually seen any nugget porn, nor (hopefully) will I ever. :gasmaske:

It's mostly a historical thing. Japan has always been very much into various printed arts, from the Ukiyo-e woodblocks on (and even before then, but that's when it really got popularized).
The other key factor is government censorship. It's varied wildly from ruler to ruler. For a long time the only way to produce pornographic material was in a printed/drawn manner, and even that had a lot of restrictions. This sort of thing went on long enough to keep drawn and animated porn a traditional type thing.

A lot of this sort of thing falls back to the censorship I mentioned. Lots of restrictions on which bits could and couldn't be shown, so they had to get creative.

Hell, reality isn't particularly real. All you sense is reflected light arranged in particular patterns that are given meaning by your brain based on your past experiences.

I just find it a bit on the odd side but then again everyones sexual ideas or stimulants are not the same as the next persons so for some I'm sure it's a source of amusement or entertainment or ........well.

To me that makes sense that is a plauseable explination that I can accept. I was just thinking that this was the norm possibly in their culture.

Agreed to which I made that point in the first part of the post. While I know and understand that porn isn't real it still provides a "real live" stimulant as opposed to Hentai.

If you were going watch something to stimulate yourself would you not want to watch a real live person. Granted Ron Jeremy isn't pretty to look at.....but he isn't a cartoon.
