Lola runs is a great movie! And I thought all a german could make were krautz und frankfurters!

I'd suggest American Beauty, some 50's italian movies (those ones with undressed roman women ) and the old classics of Marlene... aaah
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

If you want comedy, then Monty Python is a good choice.
For generally good movies, The Godfather Trilogy, Metropolis (The Anime version....haven't seen the original), A Beautiful Mind.....that's it off the top of my head that hasn't already been said.

And I would also like to second LotR Extended edition.....though there I would actually suggest buying it......although you would've anyway.....

One of my favorite 80's movies is Faris Bueller's Day Off. Damn, his girlfriend was hot.

Hmm... my fav movies to watch and enjoy (rather than to watch and get your head f*cked.)

                      Comedy:
                      The Big Lebowski
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
                      Monty Python's Life of Brian
                      Back to the Future
                      Ghostbusters

                      Epic:
                      Lawrence of Arabia
                      The Great Escape

                      Action:
                      Apocalypse Now
                      The Warriors
                      Goodfellas
                      Casino
                      Dusk Till Dawn
                      Pulp Fiction

Just off the top of my head... you need to be a bit more specific about the type of films you like/want to see... there's a lot of films out there!
I have discovered that China and Spain are really one and the same country, and it's only ignorance that leads people to believe they are two seperate nations. If you don't belive me try writing 'Spain' and you'll end up writing 'China'."

I'll give a big to The Boondock Saints. A lot of coolness there, especially if you haven't seen a million films about vigilante justice already (I hadn't when I watched it first time... and still haven't). Fight Club is nice, too. Stay away from the Indiana Jones crap - I can't understand how those films are classics. If you're going to watch Ghost in the Shell, do not get the dubbed version. Especially the ending of the film is so brutally flattened by the voice acting that it's almost funny.
This is Shireroth, and Giant Squid will brutally murder me if I ever remove this link from my signature | In the end it won't be love that saves us, it will be mathematics | So many people have this concept of God the Avenger. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm borring my friends DVD of Val Kilmer. He says its pretty good. Suppose I better check it out first though, eh.
