Shrug. Different tastes for different people.

I just realized no one mentioned Shawshank Redemption. While it falls short of being one of my favorites, the ommision does suprise me.

I hope you are not referring to the film based on the Cluedo boardgame.
That must have the highest gag-per-minute count of any film I've seen. And it's ****ing funny too!

                The movie "Clue" sucked.

However they had a video version of the game that was VERY funny.

Why has no-one mentioned any David Lynch films?

The greatest director of our time goddamn it...

                        for the classicly minded:

Blue Velvet, Elephant Man, Wild at Heart, Straight Story

                        those who like the unusual:

                        Eraserhead, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive.

                        I mean this guy rocks.

I meant the original, myself (/w the creepy old lady that appears from nowhere. ). I actually enjoyed the remake, particularily in comparision to all the other "remakes" that Hollywood decides are such a good idea to make. But I wouldn't put it in my favorites.

I still say the 1963 The Haunting is the best haunted house movie ever made. It's just got the entire atmosphere and mood perfect. Running behind it are The Changeling, The Legend of Hell House and The Innocents.
