That led to accusations of ‘arrogance’ (quite amusing if you think about it) and festering ill will that has lasted pretty much ever since. I can quite believe they can raise their game for us, but whether that is explanation enough? As you say only the camp knows for sure.









Do you think your backs practise together with your forwards? Do they rehearse plays? You can see the ABs and the Wallabies all getting into position preparing for their plays (even if some of the apparent starting points are blinds in themselves). I never get that impression with England.
