You know, y'all have been some *******s towards tandee in this thread. Now, I've never really looked to kindly upon her because the way she says things can be really abrasive at times (and I happen to disagree with them frequently) but there was no call for Sneak's attacks ( sneak attacks . . . ). And Imran should have kept his suspicions to himself. (I don't mean his concerns about her husband possibly returning to Islam one day). But rather than assuming how things are between tandee and husband you might have asked.

Yeesh. Try to be a little more civil.

    • Well I know Connor is being chivalrous about this but I think its rather tacky of you to come here and talk about a baby fathered by someone else. Very poor form and bad taste on Connor's home turf.

Thank God you didn't marry a woman with such a lack of sensitivity for the feelings of others and poor judgement Connor
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

I totally disagree. We didn't break up in some big messy argument with feelings of anger and hate like most people do. She moved away, we grew apart. I have no enimosity towards her, and I think that she's doing great in her life, and I wish her nothing but happieness with the choices she's made in her life. We've never been anything but friends since we broke up. Thanks for standing up for me and all, but really, it's not necessary.

LOL, what can I say? It's always been a part of me I guess, deep down inside.

            • I've been disappointed by the level to which people who ought to know better have stooped to on this particular thread. I'm not going to get myself involved any further but I have sent a PM or two out concerning this thread.

              Good day to you all.

Ah, just because our most cherished opinions are diametrically opposed to one another, it doesn't mean we can't be friends, does it?

You're right though, I am abrasize. I think my personality doesn't transfer well to the computer. I think my strong opinions are more "cute" in real life, and I say biting things with a smile on my face that makes it hard to hate me. Or maybe I'm just a b*tch. Either way, I'm sorry to anyone I offend. :

                • I'd agree, tandee comes across much differently in real life than she does online.

She doesn't hesitate to voice her opinion, and that doesn't always go over well online.

                  • I gotta tell you Tandee, out of all the decisions you will make for and about your son, this one will rank about 8,546th in importance. So ignore the others' angst, do what you want to do, and don't worry about it.

Woah.... I happen to know Connor well enough and have enough respect for him to know that it doesn't bother him. He's far from sitting around moping, and I think you may have noticed that we are not only very good friends, but we are very good friends who are very open with each other and have no "forbidden subjects."

I have many people I consider friends who will probably be on the opposite sides of the barricades one day. It was the combination of abrasive and ideological opponent. Made it feel like you were being disrespectful towards me. If it's not intentional, then I see no reason not to be friends.

If you have the priesthood, but have not been endowed, you would be disfellowshiped. However if you were adamant about not changing, it would go to disciplinary council, and depending on how adamant you were, you would be excommunicated.

So I was mostly wrong (unless you're endowed), but you aren't completely right either.

Seems like neither one of us was totally right OR totally wrong.

I knew a girl that was disfellowshipped for those reasons. But, of course, she doesn't hold the priesthood.
