When do you become this bitter shell of a poster? Now, I don't watch Jerry Springer, but I don't think it includes very many people who are open and logical about themselves and their relationships and who can retain great amounts of respect for former lovers, and, in fact, can still remain very good friends.... If you've never known anyone like that in real life, then I can understand, but if you have, then for shame.

EiF: tact is for people that want to avoid telling what they think. People like me because I do say what is on my mind, and from tandee's statements it really did/does seem like she's not being good to her husband and she likes her men to be subservient. That's what I think, and I'm not afraid to say it.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Tact is for people who are concerned with the feelings and beliefs of others, Imran. It is for people who know better, who realize that words can and do hurt, and are capable of expressing their opinion without resorting to the bluntest weapon in their armory.
In short, it is for adults.

Not that it matters, but I wasn't subservient to tandee at all. Neither was she to me.
Perhaps you can't see it clearly, but I think her current relationship is much the same.-connorkimbro

I suppose you dropped the "forsaking all others" part from your marriage vows?
Connor - wise up, cut your links with this woman. She's bad news.

John: Then I hope I never become one. I have always been blunt.
ck: If you look at what she said about her husband, it was hard to say otherwise. Whenever they get into an argument she always wins? She is trying to make him use his brains? I'm sorry, but that indicates subservience of the man to me.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Horse: LOL
John: Not yet. And I wonder, how would you have said that tactfully? Not that it bothers me or anything.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
