blah. a ton of that national debt is us repaying france for the revolutionary war for christs sake.

we should have added that into a provision of treaty.

No, wrong again. The only editorial substance of Mark's post was that he thought Greece should follow the US in having a debt clock. There is no, I repeat for the hard of reading, no knock against the US in that post.

You should learn something here before opening your mouth, like speaking Greek for example, to avoid putting your foot in it.

            You don't like me, fine.

            Enough dogging my posts.

funny you of all people mention it MarkG

in my country there is a saying when you dont have any money, and/or have many debts: "I am indebted like Greece"

I kid you not, it is an actual saying. Probably obsolete now, but it is still used among the people

                    I like the counter idea

btw., ex-yu had plenty of its own debt back then, so I bet greece must have been really something special

it is probably fixed by now or they would not accept you to Monetary Union

or was that one a political decision too, like getting you in EU and NATO?

It's a good thing that clock's running, at least now you know the debt can never be as high as $10 billion... Let's spend some money!
