Take a class in constitutional law. The executive branch has no effect upon the judicial branch other than appointing judges! The court that ultimately decided the election was the SCOTUS, at that point under a Democratic administration. Are you saying that particular decision would NOT have been affected by the country's president, and Al Gore's pal Bill Clinton?

The following conversation ensues 25 minutes into the meal, and after many beers:
Supreme court Justice #9: So I said to him, I'll declare that a mis-trial when abortion is illegal!
Justices's 1-8 + Jeb: Hahahahaha
Jeb: Hey guys, you got a big decision tommorow about the election tommorow, so what do you think?
Justice 4: Well we arent sure, were proboally gonna side with Gore, after all he DID have the majority vote.....
Jeb: Why dont you do your boss a favor, that and if you want to keep your jobs(he can always increase the number of judges, thus making them moot, through channel have them fired, etc....yes much of it isnt above the table), side with my brother Dubya?
Justices: Hmmm.....okay why not- your the boss!!!
I said it wasent over the table, and of course it would not be but George's brother was in a position to influence the election(though not legally) and im sure he took it.
Your going to tell me theres no corruption in goverment, and the constituion is always upheld lol?
People of high office often influence the Judicial system to get their way....for example Harry Truman added multiple more judges so he could get his new deal legislation through........added more judges with his political view, dilating the national supreme court, so his side would prevail.
