Again, Asher, it's a matter of the context in which it is portrayed. I doubt blackice would have a problem with a portrayl of a woman abusing her spouse if the woman doing it was portrayed as a bad person doing something wrong, as would be done if it were showing a man abusing his wife. It is important that domestic abuse not be taken in a lighthearted manner, becasue there are many stupid people who might not hold the strong belief that a man shouldn't hit his wife/girlfriend. If anything, there are probably more people out there who feel it is ok for a woman to strike her husband/boyfriend.

Im with Osweld, since when did men becoem such pu$$ies? I dont consider a slap in the face to be abuse unless more of a punch. Along time ago I was smacked in the face and kicked in the nuts by an X for percieved cheating . I honestly sucked it up and never saw her again.

When the slap becomes a fist that bruises, then its abuse.

Yes faded men get accused of abuse by reacting to the slap many times. Wrong place wrong mood. The point is assault is assault in the eyes of the law. I have had a few face slaps too and took it with male honor and pride. It does not make it right and should not be condoned. I don't care for this "men can't hit women but women can't hit men" ****. I don't accept that either.

I don't hit people unless I'm hit first. If a woman hits me, she'll get hit with the same amount of force.

If that makes me an ass, so be it. I'm not going to take **** from someone because they're female or male. I'm an equal opportunity guy.

I think the people who complain about commercials like this need some serious help with some emotional issues, because it's just a small slap. Anyone sane who's seen the commercial could tell you that. It wouldn't even make the skin red.

Two things to read from this response to my complaint. One the commercial will not be aired while children can see it as it should have been in the first place. And two it will be discontinued meaning more negative complaints than positive.
