Democracy will grow in acceptance, but due to Russian's long history with strong central governmental control, it will evolve along Scandinavian lines, not along U.S. lines.
The kleptocracy with plagued Russia after the change over will receed as it become clearer that honest business dealings give more stability and long term profits than thievery. With this growing economic predictablity, Russian's wealth will increase.
Powerwise vis-a-vis the U.K., Russian will have a stronger army, a weaker navy and will project itself less around the world. So the two will average out.Comment
