Striptease was way worse then Showgirls.

I saw in a video store magazine the cover of the Mariah Carey movie, and i'll put money on it being one of the 10 worst films in the history of the universe, and i haven't even seen it
As for bad films i have seen, the following come instantly to mind;
Starship Troopers
Hard Target (i had to look up the name, though)
Hollywood Suite (apalling Alan Alda movie made in the 70's. I only remember it because it was so bad. I want to vomit just thinking about it )
Most of the other bad movies i haven't actually seen, but their reputations prevent me from wasting two hours of my life watching them. For the sake of it, has anyone seen Kung Pow or Freddy Got Fingered, and were they really as bad as they said??
Asher, if they were bad movies, then you've been blessed that you haven't seen worse! Come to think of it, what do you consider to be "good" movies?
Bah, your lack of taste shows itself again. You are up there with the Good Will Hunting haters .

Oh and the Planet of the Apes remake and Rush Hour II were both horrific, a friend and I saw them and American Pie II all on one ticket each (yay sneaking past theatre employees ) and still felt we didn't get anywhere near our money's worth...
Most movies are crap because they tend dumb everything down so that Joe Bob from Arkansas can follow along. I hate movies where everything is handed to me, and then people leave the theatre amazed and surprised and yapping about how good the movie is when it's clear about 30 minutes into it how it ends and how transparent and one-dimensional the characters are.
That's why most movies suck.
"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
Ben Kenobi: "That means I'm doing something right. "
Dude where is my car? (Ugh! Pure garbage... whoever made the movie should be dipped into a pool of man eating sharks)
Starship Troopers (A media flip. Bad acting and an horrible script)
Any movie with Steven Seagal in it
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)
Why so much hate about Starship Troopers ?
It's a VERY good satirical movie, one of the best I ever seen
I hope that people who hate it just did not see it as something that was to be taken SERIOUSLY ?
Science without conscience is the doom of the soul.
Listing films like Titanic, Independence Day, etc. is like shooting fish in a barrel. Everyone KNOWS they are bad, but there was enough to entertain for a bit. They weren't unredeemingly, horrifically awful enough to be consigned to the lowest levels of film perdition:
1.) The Haunting (1999). This is absolutely one of the worst wastes of celluloid ever made, and its sin is compounded due to the fact the original source material was so good.
2.) Ok, yeah, Battlefield Earth has to be up there. The only thing more horrific than this film is Travolta's insistence there will be a sequel.
3.) K-9. You better believe this is one of the worst comedies ever made, and the only reason it's sequel (yes, K-911) can't be listed higher is because I hesitate to classify it as a film, as it seems to have been shot on video. But the original is bad enough.
4.) Popeye. Anybody who expressed surprise at the descent of Robin Williams's career must not have seen this flick. I was all of 4 when it came out and still vented my spleen over it.
5.) Raise the Titanic. Anyone who think's Cameron's film is the worst Titanic movie ever made needs to to see this stinker. Huge budget. Terrific special effects. Most boring script ever written.
