Albert Speer: The simple reason is, it seems to me, that you give the impression of being a desperate, desperate man. If anything you need to treat women normally, and laugh with them, and not be awkward, and simply use your common sense. Also, when you are not overtly chivalrous, the act of holding a door open has a much greater impact, because then women know you're not desperate, but merely polite.

Asperbgers syndrome isn't neccisarily about how articulate you are, although people with it usually have difficulty communicating their thoughts it has alot more to do with not knowing how to behave or speak around other people, and in general having 'problems' with social interaction. Judging by your posts and life stories in this forum, I think it's quite likely an accurate diagnosis.

Be nice to nerds, you'll probably end up working for one of them.

I agree. People diagnosed with asperberger's syndrome syndrome have normal intelligence and communicative skills but show autistic like social behavior. The psychologist is suggesting, Speer, that you are socially retarded.

Maybe that's why he chose Albert Speer to be his handle - the Nazi who apologised.

You do know there are plenty of nerds who are not even smart

Does that go against the definition of nerd?
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Nah, the definition Speer is using is the people with the thick glasses, shirt and ties and hip calculators I think. That's more a 'look' and so is irrespective of intelligence. He means Nerd as a lifestyle.
