Sorry. That was the only way I could fathom that such an action could have any use in turning back an Isreali incursion.
But what about regularly setting a few clever traps on expected Israeli paths of advance?
I still see two problems with this approach.
1) Isreal has gunships.
2) How would you deal with the problem that Isreal's usual points of access are mainly public roads? Unintended Palestinian casualties could hurt Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc. in recruiting.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

I see. I didn´t mean to turn them back entirely; just to up the price for the incursion. I think the basic point in guerilla warfare is making the war costly for the attacker.

Sure; I didn´t mean I have the universal tactical solution for Arafat. But you can´t take ground with gunships. Hampering Israeli ground troops would at least help.

How about 'danger' signs? You will say that beats the purpose. Not really. Such danger signs would be helpful in complicating Israeli operations even where there are no actual mines.
My idea is really simply about making things more complicated for Sharon. I think that the Palestinians are not yet creative enough in that department. They should create more friction for their opponents.

I see, AH. But if the Palestinians are not winning, they will never get a decent deal. When Rabin proposed one, a Zionist murdered him.
When will you realize that
a) it is impossible for the Palestinians to win militarily, and
b) they don't want a deal, they want no more Israel.
I refute it thus!
"Destiny! Destiny! No escaping that for me!"

Zionists sure didn´t want Rabin´s deal. They expressed that in their usual unmisunderstandable way by murdering him.
