    It would certainly stand a chance to help them. It'd need to be modified to be performed in the womb though...
    Yeah, it would, wouldn't it...

    Again, all signs point to your government, not AIDS research.
    My government was powerless because the people, mostly leftists, dominated the airwaves with Gary Condit coverups and scandals to the point where all constructive action in the direction of saving 3,000 lives somewhere down the line was totally and utterly blocked. Gary Condit should be arrested, as should you, H Tower, Lefty, Osweld, and of course all AIDs researchers.

    Let's face it, Wiglaf, George W. Bush is a Christian Terrorist. Him and his Allies of Evil are like Hitler and Stalin, crushing those who stand in their way. He intentionally blocked funding beefing up security because he enjoys watching **** like 9-11 on CNN while eating his pretzels.
    He never blocked beefing up funding, if that's the sort of trash you're implying.

    What does this have to do with my question?
    The summer before is irrelevant, it only takes one summer to address September 11th.

      Before 9/11 he never asked for more funding for airport security either.

        I wonder how long it'll be before the Linux community petitions Wiglaf to remove the Penguin from his avatar.

          Bil, like I said, he was powerless more or less because of the locomotion the Condit (D) scandal caused. But he still did try to do some non AIDS-related things, like the tax cut for example.

            Yes, I can fondly recall last summer when my whole way of life was frozen in time by the Gary Condit scandal. The mail never came on time. Gas station attendents wandered aimlessly. Once I even woke up in another state in bed with a woman three times my age. It's a wonder we even survived.

              Bush rapes little boys, and because of his obsession with raping little boys he didn't have the time to push security reform in airports. He is directly responsible for 9-11, Wiglaf.

                Have you ever heard that saying: "Better to not say a word and be thought an idiot than speak and remove all doubt" or some such. You pretty much skewered that little nugget of wisdom with this thread didn't you?

                  3/10, Wiggy. Nowhere even close to your lofty standards.

                  And, in conclusion, get bent.

                    Hm.

                    Wiglaf is suggesting that developing a vaccine for a dreadful disease is unethical.

                      Macuser (aka Wiglaf):

                      1) It'd be far too expensive, especially considering that the cheapest remedy is already widely known and available to the world: the simple mindset that the people just have to stop screwing each other, plain and simple if they want to survive. Giving them a vaccine will only increase birth rates and therefore encourage the spread of the deadly disease among nutcakes who "think" they've recieved the treatment but really haven't due to a rather complicated mental condition, and of course reverse the doctrine even in healthy individuals that sex in that part of the world just has to go. Secondly;
                      It would be far more expensive to carry out an extensive education, family planning and aids awareness program. Also, giving vaccines will alter birth rate, but then again, why should those people suffering from AIDS be the ones forced to suffer? Maybe we should stop polyomielitis vaccination and stop treating lepers as well... About this of spreading a disease by nutcakes... no comment.

                      2) it encourages sex for pleasure, which naturally causes all sorts of hell to break loose when abused, and finally and most importantly;
                      If God made sex pleasurable he intends us to enjoy it.

                      3) the amount of money we dish into AIDS research every year is taken directly away from much much more important things in the national budget. If it weren't for all this AIDS vaccine garbage, September 11th would never have happened, or at least might have easily been prevented by the CIA and FBI. Why? Because we'd have tighter airport security and background checks all over the place instead of test tubes in a couple of labs. So instead of rushing to something that would only result in more screwy sex and terrorist attacks, we should focus on more relevant issues that aren't caused directly by people's stupidity.
                      On this I'd think that defence spending is unethical. Also, 3,000 people died in September 11th, against possibly several hundreds thousands who have already died of AIDS. Perhaps you should redirect the research of chemical and bacteriological weapons to the CIA and FBI and continue with the AIDS reasearch.

                      A vaccine wouldn't help them very much, would it?
                      A vaccine wouldn't save them? What is a vaccine for then! Wiglaf, have you been vaccinated for anything? Have you ever had measles, mumps, rubiola? Of course not, the racially pure are not subject to the diseases of these untermensch...

                      Uhh it would've been federal if we'd researched domestic security instead of AIDS enough to realize the guards were all half a sleep most of the time...
                      I say they should research superconductors so that we can colonize Alpha Centauri!

                      My government was powerless because the people, mostly leftists, dominated the airwaves with Gary Condit coverups and scandals to the point where all constructive action in the direction of saving 3,000 lives somewhere down the line was totally and utterly blocked. Of course! It's those talibans in the Senate who advocate for AIDS research! And Gary Condit must be in Al Qaeda for creating this diversion!

                      Not really necessary as the blood of the foetus and the mother are practically shared, correct?

                        My understanding that AIDS is not always transmitted to the baby, but there was just a very high chance of it.

                        I may be wrong, though. I'm no AIDS expert.

                          Wiggy's trolls are getting more and more desperate and stupid.

                            Yeah, it's true, the most common form of mother-baby transmission of AIDS is through lactating from an infected mother. You're right, I'd forgotten.

                            Although, foetal surgery already exists, so I can imagine they can vaccinate feotuses.
