Those are the carry over votes from the last three elections... if you add them up with the current votes, you get the total number

*however, the math seems a tad questionable in some cases

Obviously you didn't try my homemade remedy for erectile dysfunction!

All these votes for me??? You guys must know something about my last physical that I don't.

Maybe this time I'll vote in an uncharacteristic fashion:

                    Ted Striker - 4
                    David Floyd - 4
                    Berzerker - 4

Hey, can I cast an extra vote for Laz?

Oh, and I see information about me is being requested - I don't know exactly what to tell, but maybe I can get Stefu to write me a tribute or something. I'll get back to you.

Gee the OT seems very active these days- we're getting responses almost at record pace- especially considering the *thankful* lack of controversy about this vote (maybe there is hope after all! )

Maybe I should place a vote for Trappist (4) as your third spot, in that case ?

The voting here reminds me of the docpiling in the Mafia forum game

Despite efforts to make this sound like a "pan-apolyton" Hall of Fame, it is really just an Off-Topic popularity contest. Outside OT, who's really heard of most of these guys?
well... most of the posts come from the OT so that sort of justifies it somewhat-> though due to misunderstandings about where I could post the thread and due to my general laziness I only posted this voting section in the OT in the early days of the contest, until late 2002, I believe. Therefore from Dec 2000-Dec 2002- it was highly OT dominated.

However, now with entries such as Scouse Gits, alexman, solo, El Awrence, Locutus, etc. the hall has become more non-partisan to any one section of the site.

Also, I've found that the best way to remedy a 'bad' situation is to actually place votes and change the system.

It really is an OT Contest.

We should have one for on topic and one for off.
I know... I know... I keep thinking about that- but the on-topic people keep gaining.

And also, some OT people also contribuite on-topic in addition-- so it's somewhat hard to categorize the votes exactly for each person.

For example: Master Zen, DrSpike, Skanky Burns, etc. don't really fit in either category of poster...

However, if we do split it, I'll put the Spanish Civvers with the OTers, because as blocs, you two are the most efficient and generally have the least to do with the site as a whole... (The Spanish section, though it has some very good MP games, ran a diplogame for a time, and a nationstate region, and discusseses civ II/III- does tend to have a lot of off-topic discussion on birthdays, current events, etc.)

IW and DC finally have a good chance of being elected, and Hex is a traditional vote by me
                            we'll see... we'll see
                            ...thanks, by the way.

DC, the lack of controversy this time around is because Ming, Locutus and myself said a LOT the last time, and probably got to the point where nothing else can be said .
