A true holy number is inaccessible. That is why so many of them are prime numbers.
It is also no coincidence that 666 is the number of the beast.

As evidenced by the ancient mathematical culture of New Zealand... where our modern word for "six" was known of as "sex"

So, wtf is "Sedna"? A mystery planet, made up to make the theory correct?

No, it's a new planet ( some would say planetoid) discovered recently. Didn't you hear of the new planet that was discovered in the solar system?!

Of course, now astrologists say it all makes sense.

Gotcha. It's a large asteroid, about 1/2 the size of Pluto. Which means it doesn't really qualify as a planet (unless it makes your astrological ramblings make a little more sense, of course).

well, It certainly isn't a large "asteroid". After all, it has a pretty nice shape, from what I know.

Yeah but it is under the size limit to have other shapes.

You could find an almost spherical pebble in the solar system, but that doesnt make it a planet.

But over a certain size, gravitation makes almost all object into nearly perfect spheres.

And that new "planet" is barely bigger than many "asteroids"...

It s a question of definition of course...

And BTW Im suprised not maybe have mentionned that 6 is a perfect number, and the smallest one at that.
Meaning that its equal to the sum of its integer divisors except itself (6=1+2+3).

                      Really?

Eros is way smaller than sedna, and still is peanut shaped, and not spherical.

Other than that, I don't want to get into that debate again. Let's call it a planetoid, and be done with that.

Btw, do why don't we consider moons planets? why does their orbit matter?

The orbits are why something is a part of the solar system.

All the other planets rotate around their principle, while the moons rotate prinicipally around their planet.

As for planetary definitions, another one could be added, that planets ought to be within the same plane. Erratic orbits, as in the case of Pluto are suggestive that it is more of a comet than a planet.

I should be able to calculate that limit, but I've forgotten. It's a good exercise.
