I hardly think so. You have a social system behind you. If it were just me and you things would be much different.

I'm not "better" than anyone. You are the only person I see that consistently equates wealth with worth as a person. The fact that someone is richer or poorer is only a measure of their financial wealth .. . nothing more.

Please explain. Are we talking stuck on an island scenario again here?

well if it was just us, whoever was the harder worker with better fitness and better survival skills would probably end up being richer ( ie in possessions and assets valuable to continued survival). Again neither of us is "better " than the other, just one of us has more "stuff".

With most other people on the planet, I could probably find a way to co-operate for mutual benefit.

            • Unless, of course, one of you decides to heck with this fair play crap and pushes the other off a convenient cliff...

You are f'ing stupid! Harder working, better fitness is better at gaining wealth, which is what we are talking about. You implied that I'm poor for some reason because of my personal characteristics, specifically you implied that I was lazy.

                • Kid....my questions had little to do with morality. I simply asked how you see the difference between the state's "usage fee" you propose to instate vs. "rent" (which you abhor). Both acknowledge that the thing in question does not belong to you, and both require a suitable payment for its use.

                  So the difference is.....??

And the second question...asking you to define YOUR views on fairness hardly brings MY morals into the equation, does it?

But of course, I fully expect you to dodge the question...again.

Hmmm-- the characteristics that aid in gaining wealth in North American society may be quite different than that which would bring "wealth" in a two person society. ( an out of shape software engineer comes to mind)

I stand by my statements as they were made and not as you seem to choose to interpret them. I have no further comment on your personal life unless it is your explicit wish to discuss the topic and you can do so without getting all upset.

Oh no, fairness has nothing to do with morals.

You definitely are more full of ****.

Why are you telling me not to be lazy then? Are you trying to give me useless information or something?

                          • Just an observation: If you seek to equalize everybody in THAT manner (ie, make everyone of the same level of fitness, with the same drive for hard work...you know, in order that everything be all nice and "fair" and "equal" my question is this: aside from genetically engineering everyone to be EXACTLY like you...how exactly, would you propose getting to this type of equality?
