Also please note the pink balloons, it's clearly a gay conspiracy to take over Ukraine by force!

They "people" who openly agitate for murder of people of other nationalities support Yushenko and consider him as their candidate and you think it's Ok?
Sometimes you westerners scare me. How anyone could be so blind?
You don't make any sense at all. First you make several examples on how you shouldn't judge a person by his relatives, but in the next moment you judge a person by a small fraction of his supporters. Stop flip-flopping.

As I've said this article is no more than a BS, as well as Yushenko's story/
Any way, Serb, the picture shows what your "revolting and violent" protesters are like...
Should I bring photos of those kind persons storming state's building? And actually it doesn't really matter how they behave. They could bring flowers to cops, they could sing them songs, but at the same time they paralize the work of the government. They do not allow personel of the Ukranian governmnet to get to their workplaces. They simply do not let them go through columns of protestants to their place of work. It's called sabotage.
            It's against Ukrainan law. IT'S A F*CKING CRIME.

He's crying now because he was wrong.
Last time I cried 15 or so years ago. I was sarcastic. Actually it's funny to see that many of you guys really buys this BS.

Do you realize the difference between what your relatives have done over 60 years ago and what your supporters actually doing RIGHT NOW? How they support you, and actually who are the people who support you?

60 years ago Yushenko wasn't born yet, nazi who support him, do it NOW. They exist NOW and they do it because they believe in him.
Because he is the ****ing nazi, just like them.

Doctors at Vienna’s exclusive Rudolfinerhaus clinic are within days of identifying the substance that left Mr Yushchenko’s face disfigured with cysts and lesions, Nikolai Korpan told The Times in a telephone interview.

Specialists in Britain, the United States and France had helped to establish that it was a biological agent, a chemical agent or, most likely, a rare poison that struck him down in the run-up to the presidential election, he said. Doctors needed to examine Mr Yushchenko again at the clinic in Vienna to confirm their diagnosis but were in no doubt that the substance was administered deliberately, he said.

“This is no longer a question for discussion,” Dr Korpan said. “We are now sure that we can confirm which substance caused this illness. He received this substance from other people who had a specific aim.”

Asked if the aim had been to kill him, Dr Korpan said: “Yes, of course.”

                  Christ, this situation is insane.
Sure, it's insanity that your media pulled out those "facts" out of their storage now, AFTER the cheif (Dr. Micheal Cimpher) of this so-called doctor Korpan disproved his statements. It was the initial statements of this Korpan doctor, he promised to reveal proofs of his so-called diagnosis, but later the CHIEF of this Austrian hospital (more experienced guy) diproved all his blah-blah-blah and said that they found nothing during examination of Yushenko.

This Kopran's statements are old news. And already disproved news.

No and I'd like to keep it that way, thanks. Putin and Russia (and you specifically) have some dangerous political tendencies that need to be guarded against. I thought these tendencies were repudiated more than a decade ago, but there's a resurgence of late.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

                        Weird logic.
As we all know, Arnie's farther was a member of natinal socialist party, he was a nazi. So, according to this aproach this automatically makes current governor of California a nazi, right?

It doesn't really matter what Yushenko speak (lie). The more imortant thing is WHO support him. Ukranian nazi DO support him, he is THEIR candidate.

Just in case if you'll say that Jews support him, not nazi, I would like to quote your own article:
"However, Yushchenko's Jewish supporters are not without concerns over the strengthening of the Ukrainian nationalist elements in his party, which they believe could bring about an increase in anti-Semitism in the country."

Yup, there are ukrainian nationalist antisemites, who are a matter of concern. Are you saying there are NO russian nationalist antisemites? None in Ukraine? They too are a matter of concern. Whom are they supporting?

                          oww cute, go ahead....
Fact is that the protesters were very peaceful overall. Much different than you portrayed them 20 pages ago (or so).

And actually it doesn't really matter how they behave. No it's not. The right to gather and protest is a fundamental part of democracy. But of course you don't understand that, because you are living in an authoritarian state, where protests would be immediately and violently torn apart by the military and police...
If it's against ukranian law, then the law must be changed. The people have the power and if democracy is about the will of majorities, this is how minorities can get heard and their will must be respected as well and brought into accordance with the rest.

In the end, sarcasm will be all that you have.

                          • It looks like things may get "interesting" very shortly...
                            Dec 11, 2004 — By Louis Charbonneau

VIENNA (Reuters) - An Austrian hospital says it has determined the cause of a mysterious illness afflicting Ukrainian opposition presidential hopeful Viktor Yushchenko and plans to announce the details at a news conference on Saturday.

Yushchenko, who faces Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich later this month in a re-run of November's rigged election, arrived at Vienna's Rudolfinerhaus hospital on Friday evening.

He is to undergo further tests into the illness he says was the result of a failed attempt to assassinate him by poisoning. The illness incapacitated him earlier in the presidential campaign and has left his face bloated and pock-marked.

"We plan to announce our findings at a press conference (at 1400 GMT)," Dr Michael Zimpfer, president of the Rudolfinerhaus, told Reuters. "We have been working at the speed of light (as) we were closing in on the diagnosis."

Asked if he was going to confirm widespread suspicions that Yushchenko's illness was the result of dioxin poisoning, Zimpfer said: "We will give all the details at the press conference."

                            • The Austrian doctors have now confirmed that it was indeed dioxin poisoning: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/4088345.stm

It is still not clear whether the poisoning was deliberate, though the head doctor of the clinic where Mr Yushchenko is undergoing treatment said it was likely to have been caused by "a third party".

"There is no doubt about the fact that the disease has been caused by a case of poisoning by dioxin," Michael Zimpfer said.

"There were high concentrations of dioxin, most likely orally administered."

The doctors said their findings were backed by clinical observations and the study of blood and tissue samples - but that despite serious skin disfiguration there appeared to be little lasting damage to Mr Yushchenko's internal organs.
