This basicly sums up the reality of the situation. We got every single leftist vote there was to get in the country and we still lost. If we move further left then we don't pick up a single new vote and we likely lose more moderates. The group who liked or at least could stand Bush was simply larger than the Kerry group. There is a hole between them which you could drive a truck through.
