I believe some of us conceeded earlier in this thread and we even blamed the candidate's loss upon the candidate.

I guess I miss Clinton and Bush I, as well...Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh

Ah come on Ming - this may be our Kuci, but it's not like dojoboy's post was anything but a bit of crowing anyway.
I thought it was a bit ridiculous myself.
Just because Kuci probably doesn't like the outcome of the election, doesn't mean he is allowed to make unprovoked attacks on Dojoboy... Again, attack the candidates, their stances, their mistakes, but NOT the posters.Keep on Civin'

And, thanks Ming. Kuci really did hurt my feelings.

Well, I've seen worse recently, and blatantly flaming someone rather than just pointing out how silly someone's post was, but, you're the one with the stick....

We don't see every post... that's just not possible... but we do see when people use the complaint feature...
Second... what you don't see is that some people are warned and even restricted via PM, and members aren't aware of action taken...
Third... We will be keeping a close eye on things to stop crap from getting personal today since emotions are running high...
And last... Kuci has involved himself in some personal attacks in the past and has been warned to not do them again.
Now back on topic...Keep on Civin'

Putting that behind...
Anyways, I read a rather disturbing article on our Sunday newspaper before this election. It was on who would be better for us (NZ) to win. Essentially, it predicted that, without the need to worry about ANY kind of support, amongst Americans or the international community, the Bush admin would continue to play tough - and not just on those perceived as enemies, but on those who had different stances than the US.
The case of note was NZ's nuclear free policy. We do not allow nuclear-powered ships or craft containing nuclear weapons into port here. Although personally I think this policy is a little out of date I am to a degree proud of the stance against such potentially dangerous technology. The article (although perhaps a little scaremongering) predicted that, should Bush remain, NZ would come to grief with the US on this innocent policy, incurring trade and diplomatic disincentives, rather than it being a non-issue, as it should be.
Does anyone else think this sort of thing will happen? That allies who happen to disagree on what I see are minor or surpassable issues should be shunned by the US?
