    Goooo BUSH!

"I thought you must be dead ..." he said simply. "So did I for a while," said Ford, "and then I decided I was a lemon for a couple of weeks. A kept myself amused all that time jumping in and out of a gin and tonic."

      To sum up:

Bush ahead by 140,000 in OH. If he keeps OH, he wins the election.

Bush can possibly win the election without Ohio. If he takes New Mexico + Iowa + Wisconsin, he can also win.

I wonder how they stacked up against Nader overall.

            Morning all!

            What a heartbreaker!

            (I'm referring to yesterday's Arsenal-Panathinaikos 1-1 of course)

On CNN they pointed out that the remaining votes in Nevada are from Clark County (Las Vegas and suburbs), meaning Kerry still has a faint (but fading fast) hope of taking the state.

Kerry's not great, but he is decent (and good in some respects) and far closer to center than Bush. Yeah, Kerry's campaign wasn't run wonderfully I admit.

Even if you agree with Bush doesn't it bother you that he used dishonest tactics and his supporters generally are wrong in their understandings of the Iraq and Al Qaeda situations? I do think Karl Rove's hand play a big role in Bush winning, and Karl Rove plays a very, very dirty and underhanded game.

Seriously, doesn't it bother anyone that issues weren't honestly discussed? (A problem on both sides, true, but it is true that Bush was more dishonest about things than Kerry--as I have shown numerous times via factcheck).

Also New Mexico looks like a red state while Wisconsin and Minnesota look blue as does Iowa by the skin of it’s teeth. Ohio is likely Bush but we won’t know for sure for 11 days. Current electoral count is Bush 249 to Kerry 242.

None of the sites I've seen have shown Badnawhatsit's totals. From what I can tell it's about half of Nader's total.

Bush may be planning to tell Kerry to shove it. If NV and NM go for him, he will give a victory speech, and leave Kerry to look like the proverbial little Dutch Boy.

Bush will probably declare victory in an hour or so.
