Don't blame the Cards. They didn't win the National League so why get on them.

This is ugly. I believe the Cards have lost 6 of 7 on the road this postseason.

Going to be a quick series if they can't win at least 2 at home (duh?!?)

So if everyone wins their home games, that means Red Sox win 4-3, right? Cool.

If it plays out that way, it will be exactly what happened in 87.

And it would be hilarious (from a certain point of view) that Clemens, whom lost game 7 of the NLCS would be the direct cause of the Sox getting home field. Thanks and no thanks Rocket.

OTOH, at this point, game 7 would appear to be wishful thinking....

Well don't give up hope yet, asleep. Long series, and the Sox are worse away from home. This series will at least go 6.

Hope is not lost, yet anyway, at least in this household. I'm just thankful that I've grown up a bit since, say February of 2002 Otherwise this would be killing me, absolutely killing me. Its good to actually care about something other than sports, that way your heart won't get ripped out with something as silly as your team losing, eh Apoc?

It's a good looking team, Carpenter's loss was really a tough pill to take. They may have done better in Game 1 (for instance) with him.

Actually, I believe the 2004 Yanks have already been named saddest team in any sport in history already. The Cardinals will just be the ones that lost the World Series. No big whoop.

Except for the fact that type of comback had happened before in Hockey twice.
