    Kerry will win

McCain will be appointed Sec. of State

          I voted Bush.

          Because I'm a pessimistic liberal.

              Ned:

Right Sec. of State, wrong president.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

Actually, I think Bush will replace Powell and McCain looks like a good choice.

Still too close to call. Pessimist in me says Bush, but Kerry's got the momentum and things are looking good for him. Bush is running out of time to turn things around.

Still, a nasty October surprise isn't out of the question, and I'd never underestimate Rove's sly machinations.

Regardless, I'm extremely confident that my bet with BK will be won, although I'm not sure of the exact conditions. I know he was saying it would be a Bush landslide, which I pointed out would mean him getting 10% more of the popular vote than Kerry. That's not going to happen (even Dukakis didn't lose that badly).

And neither candidate is getting 2/3 of the electoral college, no way in hell. The electoral lead will be narrow for whomever wins.

Boris, October surprise as in Johnson declares a bombing halt and the commencement of peace talks a few days prior to the election?

I can see it all now. OBL is captured and the media frenzy swirls around the fat Michael Moore who intones solemnly, "I told you so."

Is there a thin Michael Moore?

Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

I hope Kerry will win, but as things looks now, I believe Bush will win
This space is empty... or is it?
