    So what happens to unmarried women there over 30? They go get foreigners? Do they turn into like social outcasts?


    They either get lucky and find a Japanese man, go get foreign men who don't care about their age, or become outcasts. One of the Japanese terms for unmarried women over 30 is "parasite singles".

    Do they marry like guys 60 years old?

              Well, there is intense pressure to conform in all aspects of society. It's really different, especially when compared to America, and can be both good and bad, depending on the situation.

                Oh, the other obvious thing I forgot to mention about this situation, is that this woman's biological clock is probably going off as well.
