I have seen a whole bunch of Japanese horror movies on TV, and they are all so fake.

I much prefer horror films that are pyschological with a great atmosphere, instead of having bad makeup and/or special effects.

So that would include the UN?

Some of y'all want the SC to be a do-gooders club. It's not that at all. The SC is there to help keep the peace. The permanent members should only include those countries that are able to cash the checks that the SC writes (such as the US did in Korea and Iraq). All of the permanent members in there now can do that, some more than others.

The permanent member/no veto idea is interesting.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

If we go by violating own constitutions. . .

I think your forgot France was a permanent member. I don't think they could cash a cashier's check.

They have a much more significant deployment capability than do Russia or China, and are comparable to the UK.

But would they hit anything they fired at?
