Of course the fact that he was making a joke was lost on you... hmmm? IIRC, even the trailer showed the people there laughing.
Yes, I got the joke. However, I didn't think it was too funny. THe joke is, Bush and his ilk represent those constituents while the average Republican voter's interests (as with the rest of America) are ignored.
To us, it is the BEAST.

Don't speak for me SAVA, my republican interests are being represented, may I thankly say they are not your interests. Moore is a joke and will go down in history as one.

What, are you going to have us believe that was sarcasm, and that everyone was laughing at him making fun of their support?

It is definitely no secret who Mr. Bush represents... and it ain't you or me. We're both too poor for that.

Oh wait, but Michael Moore is a liar, so that wasn't Bush. It was a cleverly put together CG representation of Bush. Or better yet, it was a body double.
What a sound defense of Michael Moore's integrity. You manage to attack Bush while also thoroughly thrashing my criticism of Moore.

That's the joke. Poor Republican fools don't know they're being taken for a ride.

Nice troll. It don't work though. 'Interests' is quite a broad term and I think Bush does quite will in promoting the interests of the social conservatives.

                  Moore's integrity doesn't need defending.

I just speak the truth. If you interpret it as an attack, then the truth isn't good for Bush. I guess that's why he's a liar.

That's another one of the big jokes. For instance, Bush appeals to bigotry (in the case of gay marriage) to get support from bigotted conservatives. And the Repukes use other issues like abortion to divide the country. I think you don't quite understand the term "interests" in this context. While Repuke stances on abortion and gay marriage might appeal to conservative's sense of bigotry and their sanctimonious "holier than thou" attitudes, it certainly isn't in their interests to ban abortion or gay marriage. They get their feeble minded sheep to support them on divisive social issues in order to make their immoral economic agendas into policy. Everyone making less than $200,000 gets screwed, while Repuke leaders laugh all the way to the bank. And now, Bush and company use other issues like national security to get support. They appeal to people's fear and denounce the Democrats as traitors.

This is why Karl Rove and his type are so brilliant. They get all the dopes to believe in their candidates. One can never lose if you appeal to the lowest common denominator of ignorance. It's the complete story of Republican success.

When someone debunks Moore using facts and reason, then I might change my mind. Fortunately for Moore, none of the Moore-hating dip****s know how to debate. They just resort to baseless personal attacks. I almost feel sorry for the right... but they appear to be functional mentally handicaps, so good for them.

Or check out Spinsanity. They have several articles on Moore. Here is one example. This link has a list of spinsanity articles regarding Michael Moore.

I beg to differ. I think anyone making over $20,000 a year benefits with Bush. Not $200,000. Because all I know, is the democrats increase taxes for anyone making over $20,000 a year.

That's utter nonsense Diss. Under the Gore's 2000 tax plan, people under $200,000 would be paying less than what they are paying under Bush. Remember Clinton's 1993 budget? It raised the top income bracket while offering small cuts to other income brackets. Pay attention to the facts Diss, not Repuke propaganda.

And Bush's deficit spending is the same as raising taxes. That money has to be paid back somehow. And that means increasing government revenue by raising taxes. You should be upset at Bush for irresponsible spending. Each dollar wasted is a dollar that has to be paid back. And with Repukes in power, you can bet that the poor and middle class will be paying off those debts while the rich enjoy tax cuts and corporations enjoy tax breaks (in addition to the tax evasion that goes unprosecuted).
