    • Well, they also speak with a funny accent and were not shy about planetary bombardment against the Narn. Their planet almost gets blown away by the Vorlons..almost.

The Centauri are cool, especially with the Hungarian Accents and the use of Mas Drivers on Narn.

            • You know, all props to my Slayer sister but she only kicked Glory butt, she never defeated a god. She Odin Hammered Glorificus until the most womenly scented one had to hide in Ben. Then Buffster gave Ben a lecture and Giles had to kill him.

It's the equivalent of punching somone in the face, telling them they smell, and then letting your father burn down their house while they're inside.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

Wow, a God with rather weak powers if she could get a beatdown from someone who can get shot to death.

Lets see, Buffy down on the planetay surface...and then a quick little turbolaser flash, particle beam, phaser, disruptor, mass driver, nuclear missile or whatever, and poof, no more little town, no more annoying slayer.

It's fun comparing things that hugely unproportional. I wanna compare the Vorlon attack fleet against Q now.

Now, Buffy versus Worf would be an interesting match.

No it wouldn't be. Buffy would kick his ass from here to sunset.

Now, Buffy vs. a Vorlon....maybe that is more fair...I mean, she did beat a God, no?

                        Actually, Buffy vs Chewie!

                        • I don't like Worf, so interesting in the sense that seeing a really annoying kid get hit by a car is interesting. Ie, preferable over, say, watching paint dry.

                          You saw nothing.

Eh, if you don't watch Buffy you probably wouldn't.

However, Bruce Campbell has appeared in the Evil Dead movies, a few TV shows (my favorite being Brisco County Jr.) and other misc. crapola. The subtitle of his autobiography is, IIRC, The Life and Times of a B-Movie Actor. Anyway, I was joking with the "BIG names" comment.
