Well, that's what happens after several millienia of defense contractor consolidation.

Funny, I seem to recall that from the very beginning the SW book series were written without any input from Lucas Films, nor did they exert any editorial control so long as the publishers ponied up their royalties. That comes from an interview with Lucas back in the early 1980s.

Ah, yes, now I remember, Jester Mereel was the man who adopted Jango Fett, and after Jango died Boba used that as an alias for awhile.

Actually, it was stated in ANH radio drama that the sounds you here are approximations the tactical computer provides.
This was when the TIEs were attacking thn Falcon, and Han told Luke that he would be hearing sounds provided by the tac computers.
Bizatch!
Why on earth add annoying little sounds for? Besides, this would only explain sounds we hear from scenes inside the ships-not for scenes out in space.
Hence, Smackdown!
The fact is the only movie/TV show I have ever seen that actually kept this science fact was 2001.If you don't like reality, change it! me

comparing the Empire with the Federation makes no sense. Empire = bad guys, Federation = good guys. The good guys always win in the end, in ST and SW.
So the REAL comparison should be between the Empire and the Borg (or Dominion/Breen, or Species 8472. the big bads from the ST universe).
So who'll win?
Empire vs Borg vs Shadows?Quod Me Nutrit Me Destruit

Well, given how incompetent the Borg were and how one single Federation crew beat them silly, I would have to say they get beaten no matter what.
As for the Shadows, they were no mor evil than the Vorlons really-so maybe it should be Empire vs. First ones.If you don't like reality, change it! me
