You clearly don't understand the mental processes of people in a cult. In their collectrive ideology, if all the Muslims united, they could defeat the West. You seem to forget that GOD IS ON THEIR SIDE. Rational thought doesn't enter into this. It's kinda like the ghost dancers who thought they were immune to bullets. They think that when enough Muslims follow "the true Islam" God will make us fail.

Actually, the leaders are pretty smart. They just have very ambitious goals.

They do not suffer the delusion that somehow the nukes would NOT hit.

Don't assume smart people can't be irrational. Some of the smartest people I've ever met were in a cult, I mean amazingly brilliant people. That doesn't mean that some of their thought processes weren't warped. Even the most brilliant of people are capable of self-delusion.

Yep, Illinois' first capital was in Kaskaskia, near the Ohio on the Mississippi, it was settled in the south first, and even had slavery early on.
