I'm about as in-your-face atheist as they come, but it wouldn't bother me a bit for anyone to performs such a ceremony on my behalf. In fact, I'd be rather appreciative. On the slim chance that there is a heaven and someone wants me to go there, they can knock themselves out lobbying for my admission.
