Well, if what you said regarding the fact that it was civilians who are responsible for the killings, I would expect that it is in fact the civilians who are being punished.

I still don't think they are armed insurgents, I believe them to be Falluja residents in support of the Saddam regime, but I am sure we will find out after this operation "viligent resolve".

I think most reasonable people would also agree that the armed men in a crowd shooting at soldiers are surrounded by civilians and by shoot back, you are invariably mowing down innocent protestors as well...:rolleye:
