The freedom to fire an AK-47 at soldiers? What kind of freedom of speech is that? You are nothing but pathetic. I mean go pick up a different line of trolling because you suck at this.

(Honestly, are you actually being serious about that crap you typed, eli?)
I'm presenting the terrorist point of view and their reasons to attack Spain, you dumbass.

          Sandman:

Quite an imagination you've got there.

economic pressure from the EU is a fact, even without such events.
you can bet your ass that some treaties will be 'postponed' etc. If something like that would happened in Israel.

Spain would have to be occupying about 70% of Morocco, with settlements riddling the entire country like a dose of the clap and its 'wall' wouldn't actually be on the actual border but tens of miles into Moroccan territory after massive destruction of property...

The wall isn't on the actual border. It's surrounding the colonies of Ceuta and Melilla.

And that is just scratching the surface!

Your country gets off scott free with murder and 'lebensraum' on a daily basis under the aegis of the US - your country is a nasty evil bully of a nation that lashes out under the slightest excuse!

Oh mine, I see a lot of name calling. Look how easily I can do the same. Spain, the UK, and other Europeans are a totalitarian dictatorship, and are engaged in a neo-Imperialist occupation of foreign countries to establish proxy regimes ( Iraq, Afghanistan), are engaged in ethnic cleansing, and denying rights to ethnical minorities, by deporting immigrants, and making them work in slave-like conditions. They also put them into camps, continuing a not so old european tradition.

          oh, and Fezzie:

We had to shoot them. They had AK-47s. I don't know if you think having AK-47s is being unarmed, but the Spanish troops opened up after being fired upon. T.

a)While Spanish troops were fired upon, not all of the protestors were armed. Many of the dead were unarmed.

Where is Lord of the Mark?

There must be some explanation for why America's friends, the Shiites, are doing this.

Lets see, maybe I can come up with something.

They're a splinter cell of ex-Saddam INFORMANTS, who were used in fear campaigns against their own, and they resent their loss of status. Plus, they have links to Al-qaeda.

I really recommend all Americans read a chapter or two in (American) Thomas Friedman's "From Beirut to Jerusalem"; it will let you understand how impossible a task Bush has given his military, and why no matter how valiant and dedicated they are, frustration what they will accomplish.

Don't worry, the more you say it, the more the chickenhawks on this site will bury their heads in the sand...

8 US marines killed in a single firefight - that has to be the worst ground combat casualties in an action since those trucks took a wrong turn during the 'official' part of the war, and they were only logistics personnel...

Hey, aren't the Shi'ites supposed to be the friendly Iraqis?

Something tells me there won't be an Iraqi election on June 30th.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't!

Too cheap trolls about Ceuta and Melilla, Azazel. You should raise a bit the level if you want any spaniard answering to you.

                    -----

About possible spanish troops involved in the envents, it should be investigated by an international court, if there were some suspects of indiscriminated massacre or so, they should be judged, if they are guilty they should be condemned. I am sure most spaniards will agree with this. We are not israelis after all.

The Spanish run Najaf and it was the Spanish who arrested Sadr's aid. Thus they targeted the Spanish compound. That plus it was the nearest base for them to march to.

But the Spanish initially, while the riots were going on, denied having detained him.

There must have been some sort of communication breakdown somewhere.

The report I saw on the BBC said the Spanish arrested the fellow. Maybe the BBC was in error.
