-Bush tells a sh!tty joke
-Lefts notice how rude it was to all those who died in Iraq
-Rights' "Bush is a gift from God, who is Reagan, BTW" instinct kicks in. Some of them are able to control it and come up with reasonable excuses for the joke, but some of them just call the left whiners.
This follows the same pattern of most things that Bush does.

For supposedly such a disciplined campaigner, this gaffe seems inexcusable. Didn't anyone there think that this would become an issue, considering the staunch opposition many had to the war? As a non american I would like to apologise to all the American familes who have suffered the loss of a loved one in Iraq, and on the Presidents behalf - as i doubt he'd have the balls to himself, or even care it MIGHT have offended someone.
