I don't recall anywhere in any oath that I have taken to defend my country any mention of iraqi's or kurds. Not that I don't like them but my concerns focus on the U.S. and not the M.E.. I also feel that if Saddam was so bad the U.S. would not have supplied him with some of the weapons that were used on the Kurds, Iranians, and Iraqi's. That is to say he is no worse than the ones who enabled him in his crimes. He is no worse than many other despots and I do not believe that any nation has the right to decide the destiny of another nation.
My freely expressed view is that anyone who sees the issues in such a clear manner as yourself should be over in Iraq making a difference. Russians supplied 90% of the weapons used against the kurds. The chemical weapons discharged from MiGs and Hinds were Russian.
