Its a nice thought to march for peace, but

    A) its too late to pull out now the sperms are already racing for the egg
    2) If we were a pacifist isolationist nation the world would be worse off.

you ask how the world would be worse off? look at the years between WWI and WWII and how it lead up to the rise of Hitlers fiefdom.

Because persuading the US to just immediately pull out of Iraq would be such a good thing.

Nope. They are anti-Iraqi people and pro-Saddam. They are marches for the further abuses of Saddam Hussein. That is what the pre-war marches were for and these are no different. I am not gung-ho.. I am just logical and I think logically. I am not an idiot who is for the murder of innocent Iraqi people by a vicious madman by the name of Saddam Hussein. Anybody in their right mind would be for the invasion.

I saw the newsclips of all the protests today and started laughing. What was the point? Congratulations you demonstrated you are against the war. Its not like we didn't already know that.

Oh, your AGAINST the war! I thought the first 212 times you said that you were just kidding. My bad, your serious, your against the war. Now that you've wasted a whole day standing outside I guess we believe you now.

I just don't see how these protests accomplished anything.
And look at how your post is being significant to the development of civilization.

So Boris you take part in the pro-Saddam marches for the murder of more Iraqi innocents?

And BTW, I didn't go to the protest. THEY WANTED AMERICA TO LEAVE, the f**king morons. That would only worsen things.

No, I never marched for Iraq. The situation seems too complex to me to warrant a clear-cut opinion- at least, one I'd be marching for.

It was raining today in Pittsburgh. I wonder if it washed any of the dirt off of the hippies here who went protesting.

I'm just trolling. Don't mind me. I also talked with a kurd today whose father and brother were killed in 97 by Saddam's security forces.

Well you are right. Lets say everybody leaves Iraq. There will be a power vacuum and a bloody civil war where tens of thousands would die. Only idiots are for withdrawing at this time.

I think you should sign up to go over and win the peace.

I agree that the situation is too complex to just up and leave. It's too complex for you to decide that these people are pro-saddam or pro-death and murder. Are there any recruitment offices near you.

I keep hoping that if I wait long enough Uncle Sparky will eventually post a thoughtful and well balanced post.

                          So far I'm still waiting.

I am deciding these things because those people protesting out in the streets are arrogant of the reality. Maybe you should talk with some Iraqis and see what they think. Ask them what they think about Saddam. I talked with several and they all expressed incredible anger towards those people protesting.

I don't need to go join the military, you jerk. I can express my views freely without these stupid suggestions.
