"All right-wingers are closeted homosexuals lashing out against women and minorities. Now, I can't prove this claim, conveniently, since they're closeted, but I can state that men who exercise, or marry women I consider ugly, or who are shy, must ipso facto be homosexuals if I happen to disagree with their politics. And while I repeat there are studies backing me up, I can't produce a single one."
That is a willfully ignorant representation of my view on this matter.
Nevertheless it is funny that the Republicans here have made no effort to disprove the history of rightwing woman bashing and their use of blatantly racist push polls.
I recommend for everyone to rad Al Frankens book 'Lies and the lying lyars who tell them'.
If you are interested to know how bad a state American Democracy is in, curious who Ann Coulter is, or Bill O'Reilly, or Hannity and Colmes and how they have lied and lied and lied, then this book is worth your while.
Another point Al Franken makes is with regard to the rights obsession with pornography. In the internet age, when Americans are busy downloading porn, it is important for politicians in order to make the people interested in politics again to pornogaphize politics. One example is of course the investigation of Clinton's sex life.
Interestingly the American porn industry is a corporate affair, and they make tons of money on it.
I might point out that when the Nazis invaded Poland, they took out all the worthwhile books from the libraries, and replaced them with the vilest pornography.
MrFun didn't say all gays were liberal, he said he'd wager a majority of them were. If you can't see the difference between those two statements, I'm afraid your spot on the McLaughlin Group will have to be revoked in favor of someone with coherent brain wave patterns.
Thanks, Boris.
I guess Tripledoc doesn't know the difference between the words, "majority" and "everyone" and the words, "proven fact" and "wager."
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

Well if you ask me to do something am i then supposed to say 'yes sir'. I am pretty sure you have the intelligence to find such litterature youself.
And frankly your assesmnt of me is not very interesting. You have a bloated ego.
It's my job to prove YOUR points for you?
Allow me a Ming moment:
I'll take that as your concession that you haven't a clue as to what you're talking about.

First, I'm not quoting you out of context--anyone can look back on the thread and see that much. Duh.
I'm still not seeing any elucidation...
Why would i have to elucidate? All you are doing is quoting me, and claiming me to be wrong, without supporting your viewpoints whatsoever. If people are interested in the subject they can find more information, themselves.

Wait, you say I'm not supporting my viewpoints? Rich. You started out making outrageous claims. I challenged you to substantiate at least some of them, but you've not even bothered. So what is it I need to support? I'm not making any claims!
I'm giving you the chance to condense your "thesis" and clarify. You're not even bothering to point out which part of my summation is incorrect or why it's incorrect, you're just sticking your fingers in your ears and singing "LA LA LA LA!"
You'd be better be prepared to support your views with more than just "I read an Al Franken book" if you want to be taken seriously!

Ok. I'm reading Al Franken (Jewish BTW) and I think he makes a pretty strong case that many famous media personalities who where until this moment totally unbeknownst to me, are in fact "greedy, evil, warmongering bigots.
And the funny thing is that they all support the Republican Party.
(snipped bull****)
Well, pissant, let me put it this way.
You're mixing your metaphors, even worse than I do.

I am going to go bet my popcorn and settledown for this one, should be a good comedy. That is if JohnT can stand opening the door to the real world teo these two for much longer.

...but Al Franken has absolutly not said anything about rightwingers being homosexuals. So I fail to get the crust of that particular insult.
And please stop laughing. Excessive laughing is a sign of lowered intelligence.
