And once again Palestinian supporters just make crap up!!! I'd very much like to see where you got this report, because this is what I'm seeing in other news reports.

A U.N. spokesman told CNN it was not likely that a vote on the resolution would come Sunday night because Security Council members are awaiting responses from their respective capitals. No further action on the matter was scheduled, he said.

Given I absolutely can't find any new story supporting your claim, and the time that has elapsed, I've got to conclude you're either being grossly irresponsible with your reporting, or outright deliberately lying.

I HAVE seen reports suggesting that 14 out of 15 members issued statements condemming Israel, but at least the UK condemmed Syria and its not clear to me if others issued statements dissaproaving of Syria's conduct along with Israel's. In some cases they may be taking a position that they equally condemn both countries. Its certainly not clear how an actual vote will go. Most of the countries don't like the idea of the situation esculating, but its not clear that they will completely take Syria's side in this.

Incidentally, there are plenty of times in life that the one person who disagrees out of the 15 is right. Given that Syria currently has a vote on the UN Security Council, its quite possible that some countries will take its side just to seek future political advantage.

I too was surprised by GePap's post. There does not appear to have been a vote yet.

Undoubtedly, the US will try to get a resolution that it could support as well - a resolution that denounces terrorism and Syria's support of it, while at the same time calling for Israel to cease and desist. But don't hold your breath. The world seems extremely biased against Israel and is deeply affected by a double-standard.

What was the UN reaction when Bill Clinton hit terrorist bases in Afganistan, for example?

Can´t say I´m an expert, but I remember media reports about Stinger missiles in the hands of the Taleban. Often it was said that they are no big threat anymore because they are too old. No idea if that´s correct or not. Perhaps MtG can enlighten us here....

[SIZE=1] Syria took it to the UNSC, and there was a 14-1 vote

                So...GePap...LIED!?!

                  From CNN.com:

There was no vote in the Security Council Sunday. No further action on the matter was scheduled, a U.N. spokesman said, as Security Council members await responses from their respective capitals.
However, later in the same article:

The United States holds the council's rotating presidency and invited Israel to sit at the table. After his speech, Gillerman left the Security Council for the Yom Kippur holiday.

The other 14 members of the Security Council were near unanimous in denouncing both the Haifa bombing and the Israeli airstrike.

The lone exception was the United States, whose ambassador, John Negroponte, called on both sides to avoid heightening tensions.

So, he both lied and said the truth in the same time

Edit: Oops, sorry, I didn't realize that Mordoch has posted about this article already.
