In my experience 30 is the minimum number for statistically significant results. As to the upper end, the more the merrier.

Pchang: Yeah 30 is a common number for that, but you can do statitics for fewer than that. In this case, however, there's a great risk that the margin of error will be huge. Maybe in the range of +/- 15%.

I've got an LL.B. as well as a BA but I filled in Doctorate on the theory that I live and work in the US and the lawyers down here all have JDs. Hope that doesn't mess up your results.
