I would like to be able to share the results with you all, although not in the "immediate" future -- most likely sometime in January, 2004.

      30

In my experience 30 is the minimum number for statistically significant results. As to the upper end, the more the merrier.

DanQ: In that case. As long as it's accepted for you course.

Pchang: Yeah 30 is a common number for that, but you can do statitics for fewer than that. In this case, however, there's a great risk that the margin of error will be huge. Maybe in the range of +/- 15%.

            Filled it out.

            Two nits:

Connecticut is abbreviated "CT" not "CN"

Your list of degrees doesn't include professional degrees - architects and lawyers are wandering in the wilderness with no place to call their own. I've got an LL.B. as well as a BA but I filled in Doctorate on the theory that I live and work in the US and the lawyers down here all have JDs. Hope that doesn't mess up your results.
What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding?

re: #1 above -- whoops, a typo. Corrected -- appreciate your pointing that out.

re: #2 above -- no problem.

I'm living in DC, but I was interning in New York at the time of the blackout. Do you want me to fill out the survey?

Fill them with random answers, if you have answers that you need you can make conclusions as you want.

                      Hi.

As the survey is asking about your status at the time of the blackout, yes, please fill out the survey.

Thanks in advance for submitting your responses.
