      The citation of Aristotle came because of the assumptions made by the article I had to refute. The article implied virtue ethics to mask moral relativism.

      In comparing her statements with real Virtue Ethics, only then could I expose her true position.

      I use that argument all the time! It is extremely effective to highlight the double standard. If it takes two to tango, why should only the mother decide in the case of abortion?

        I guess that my qualm is that Aristotle's biological/teleological version of virtue ethics is somewhat different from theistic versions.
