Fez's info does not in ANY way mean the Reagan was a bad president - just the opposite. So what if the rich got richer? The poor got richer too. Notice how the poor DIDN'T get richer under those other presidents.

I am not surprised that the lazy people agree with that police, but at the end that destroys the system. You have two very good samples in the two Germany states and the two Koreas. But as someone said, there are not enough reasons to convince the one that doesn't want to be convinced.
One of the best counters I've ever seen

Tuomerehu: HEhehehe.. I'll leave it just to be annoying. For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

Just because I believe Reagan was guilty of neglecting to react to the AIDS crisis, does not mean that I do not believe in my country.
And I cannot recall the specifics, but there was another, smaller crisis that occured in the early years of AIDS. "And the Band Played On" discussed when a few people died from contaminated Tylenol or asprin, and the federal government carried out an immediate, massive reaction to recall the product, and changed regulations for packaging pills, in a short time.A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

I don't think Reagan was guilty of neglecting AIDs... just the fact that the entire world was caught off guard. That is all.For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. Yeah, that's why we have those pressure-sealed bottle caps, etc. My dad told me about it.
So when ONLY hundreds (of ******s) were dying from this new, mysterious "cancer" a reaction from the federal government would not be justified.

Reagan was nonetheless, an overall excellent president.

You can be gay and conservative -- but you really should read about how Reagan mis-handled the AIDS crisis and then form an opinion.A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

I have been reading up on some information on it in the past, albeit not enough.
I have no idea how Reagan "failed" when AIDS first appeared. However, he was NOT a gay bashing social conservative AFAIK.http://tools.wikimedia.de/~gmaxwell/jorbis/JOrbisPlayer.php?path=John+Williams+The+Imperial+M arch+from+The+Empire+Strikes+Back.ogg&wiki=en
