Obviously they didn't work good enough. Hell, my parents did it, why couldn't yours? Seeing as how well our parents did is a barometer of Presidential success .

I think some of you guys are confusing the early 80's with the late 80's.
two different times. you could say Reagan's economic policies finally kicked in- I'm not sure about that.
But my family struggled in the early 80's. That was the poorest I have ever been. But things began to pick up in the mid 80's.
I can't complain about Reagan's economic policies. They appeared to keep the U.S. on track.Comment

I gave him A 5. I was a teeneager through most of his time in office. The only negative thing I remember was the Savings & Loan's Going down the crapper (I know Iran-Contra but I didnt pay attention to it at the time). My Dad Had a real good job & the S&L sh** put him out of business for awhile.
Does anyone know who to blame for the S&L dissaster?
