This is a historically progressive year. I look forward to 2004-2008. Once Bush is gone at the end 2004, this country can resume it's previous prosperity enjoyed in the mid to late 90's. Hopefully the next decade will be one of even greater progress and prosperity for the people.
To us, it is the BEAST.

All of your posts are rude, and certainly abnormal.

Actually Sava, it took 12 years of republicans to put the country into position to enjoy that prosperity after Carter's idiotic policies. That position was strong enough that even Clinton, with his idiotic policies, took a full eight years to bring it down. W has done a good job of putting the breaks on things and may get them turned around before he is re-elected in a landslide next year. Then we can have at least four years of fantastic prosperity for sure and then maybe more if we are smart enough to elect another republican.

          So There.

do not want persons who openly engage in homosexual conduct
Let me be clear that I have nothing against homosexuals
Are the two necessarily the same?

I hope you aren't serious. This is the stupidest thing I've heard yet today! Clinton's 1993 budget paved the way for the 90's prosperity, not the archaic handouts to the rich and tax increases that Reagan gave us.
To us, it is the BEAST.

Well I figured that if you were going so far to left, that I might as well go that far to the right. You did see the didn't you?

Looking at the facts and history of the economy and concluding that when Republicans are in power, 99% of America gets screwed, isn't partisan. It's pragmatic.

I know you were being tongue-in-cheek, but so many hold that opinion and ITS WRONG!

Anyways, enough about this, there are enough threads to debate economics in. Let's celebrate the year of the GAY!

I'm saying the government can only increase or decrease the severity of a boom or bust, not eliminate it altogether.

Bush has worked admirably to lessen the severity of the recession.
