I think a major factor (unless you're talking about 10 kids) is the spacing between them. Having more than two kids pretty close together would be quite a handful, I'd imagine. Personally, I have a brother and two sisters, but we're pretty spaced apart - I'm the youngest, my brother is 5 and a half years older than me, and my two sisters are 7 and 8 years older than him. Not at all. It is quite different to be the father of girls, but it is not less difficult nor interesting. And having both helps not to fall in excess of gender prejudice. LOL! I have 3 kids, and I can attest to this fact! A couple of years ago, a friend of ours, who only has two kids, and after observing the differences in our parenting styles, made the American Football analogy of their ability to play man to man defense (i.e. one parent to one offspring) whereas my wife and I are forced into a continual Zone Defense, and we're playing against the Rams....Originally posted by Frogman
