Since I hate having something ruined for me, I will always give the obligatory...
*** SPOILERS ***
The fun part is in figuring out why there's a second Matrix, and why they programmed a Zion in it at all. Maybe it's not the machines really in control, maybe it's just one person (Neo) who is going through some sort of near-future experiment. Or maybe the whole thing isn't real and it's all just a program.
We'll find out.

BTW, Trip. When you're saying matrix within a matrix... which is inside the other?:-p

When Neo went to meet the Architect, he accessed a hidden program which existed beyond all the fake worlds but could be accessed from the first fake Matrix. They found one doorway through the Matrix after being shown the way by the Keymaker, a program which existed within the first Matrix. It's like instead of playing one of a few different games on a computer through your OS, you decide to access the bios.

As posted on CFC :
Man, this movie sucked!!!!!!! I liked the original Matrix but this movie was crap. I watched about an hour and forty minutes worth before I left the theater. My GF was curious what happened to Trinity so she stayed a little while longer, she joined me outside about 20-30 minutes later and told me the movie was still going.
Why didn't I like it? It was just boring to me. The characters were flat (mostly too serious), the story was the opposite of captivating, the fight scenes were drawn out and not impressive (yes the technology was impressive but I like "real" fighting like that of a Jackie Chan movie). Oh yeah, and the diologue sucked, phrases such as "Let's go" made up some of the best of it. The whole movie was basically pointless and for show.
Minus four stars from Narz.:

My advice : take your $10 that the movie would cost and go buy some used books, take your chick out for a cheap meal, buy a bundle of t-shirts for the summer, but don't waste your money on this movie!

One thing I find strange is when the sentinals attack the hovercraft. They stay just out of range of the EMP field which would destroy them, and instead throw a bomb at the hovercraft. The strange thing is, the "bomb" is a mini-sentinal, an electronic device that can fly on its own guidance, actively seek its targets etc. Why couldn't the EMP field affect them?I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).
