As for chicken, thigs and wings are the best: dark meat has more flavor than white.

thighs, legs, wings, and breasts, i like 'em all, as long as it's meat and none of that insides (gizzards, livers, etc) junk.

dark meat is tastier on the whole; white meat works better when cooked in certain dishes.
