Actually, I'd like us to be more forceful than that, sooooo. Say that we are currently still at war, and that we need our horses back for our own purposes. In return, we pledge to gift Banana indefinite access to our second horses once we have them secured at Constantinople.

The current message is polite, but it's also asking for them to refuse us just as politely. Remember, when push comes to shove, they're OUR horses first.

Of course, we are also open to other paths, including a surgical strike on PAL's border city via a knight stack, and would be happy to help with planning. What direction do you see yourself heading down in the short-term?

We were also wondering if you had an ETA on when your current knight builds would be complete. Our war continues over here and knights are our best unit, so we'd like to be able to build more ASAP. Do you think you could slave your current knight builds to completion? You also won't be without horses long - we will gift you our second source permanently as soon as we have them within our culture.

New draft sounds mostly good with one problem:

I think it's pretty clear that PAL will now be going after banana now they've signed peace with rabbits. I don't think there's even any point chasing up permission to ask for that 3-way NAP.

Looking at our cities, there's not much point in getting horses back until T166. We have no spare cities to build them in and on T167 we get the option of curassiers. So on T166 we could pre-build one by starting a knight in Cape Town.

Banana finds out which great person it gets on T166. If we can use horses as a bargaining tool (to get them to front us PP for example), I think we should use it. With us sacrificing at least 7 cats next turn, it's arguable that we need cats more than mounted units anyway. Well, we need both, but we have the option to build the cats we need first before switching to curassiers if it gets us favour with banana for techs.

We need to get Donovan into a chat ASAP. In the last 24 hours, we've seen:

- PAL sign peace with Rabbits.
- PAL trade for Military Tradition (cuirassiers) with Imperio.
- PAL conduct FOUR double-whips.

It's blatantly obvious that a PAL attack is coming within the next few turns, probably the instant that their NAP runs out. If Banana goes down before we control our continent, our chances of winning the game fall precipitously. We need to let Donovan know what's coming at the very least, and even better hopefully come up with some kind of tactical plan!

Chatted with banana in-game. No need to chat in the chatroom today.

Main points:

He was annoyed at Imperio giving PAL military tradition. He asked us if we could attack them out of vindictiveness. I let him know that it is a possibility and we don't have a NAP but they think we do. That's a lot of privilaged information and I was hesitant to give it out but hey, gotta trust some people.

He wants to trade astro to Imperio for MilTrad, since it's his only shot at it. Astro is due for him T167, his next GP is due T166. After the trade goes through he's planning to cancel their resource deals.

He said he'd be done with horses definitely T168, possibly T167.

Yes, if Donovan would be willing to trust us with the composition of his forces, we could probably give him some good advice. Don't know if he'd be willing to go that far, but it's worth a shot.
