  • Its possible they expect us to take one turn to fully remove the defensive bonus, then wait till the next turn when we can use all of our cats to attack.

There is still that blue mist around their units. So at least one more promo is possible.

woo hoo! My wife publishes her first book. Buy it now in paperback format at lulu and help me retire so I can write more BUG mod code.

          • Are you going to post a thread in the public forum showcasing the fall of Jericho?

            • Don't know. Technically, Templars and Rabbits have not met yet.

              • At this stage, I'd say not: seeing as we want to form some kind of grand alliance against PAL, we don't want to come over as gloating tosspots. We'll save that for if & when we cut PAL down to size

It's your game, but generally once 1 team has met all teams that team can post publically.

                  • Anyway, taking a small border city is not so special.
Once Jerusalem falls I take it we will address the world about our awesomeness.

                    • Last night as I lay in bed I thought we should send something to Templars asking for their capitulation. I think that if we word it right that we could at least get it considered. I will try and come up with a draft later today

                      • No, let's not cap them: their turnplay has been lame. Imperio haven't played so well, but at least their overpowered lands make them a decent force in this game.

                        • Lets wait for their counter attack or move towards PD and lets see what they actually have in Const.

If I were Templars, I would not capitulate just because my smallest city was taken.

                          • Honestly, I don't want Templars as a vassal. They've shown that they suck at this game. I want them dead, and those lands controlled by us.

                            • So where do we start building the Settler for the site West of Jerusalem...

                              • A reason to vassalize Templars is that it would allow us to strike at Imperio right away, instead of 20-30 turns later. However, if we are confident that we can finish off Templars in the next 20 turns, we can ignore communications with them.

As for public thread, I am tempted to post something along the lines of "he who comes to us with a sword shall die by the sword". (Is there a similar famous quote in English?)
