What are the chances they don't even notice our stack?
I say, pretty high.
That would be pretty darn funny, but actually is possible. Our woodsman mace has fortified to the full 25% bonus, so just about any of their units will see him as the top defender.
@Soooo - I accept your analysis of how events might transpire, but being so generous to our enemies doesn't exactly appeal to me after the whole "pillage neutral roads and then declare" thing.
I have re-read the pitboss thread from around the time the 2v1 war rules were proposed and adopted. When Templars eventually responded they specifically asked about the rationale for the promo&upgrade clause, so I replied with our justification and an example.
They were aware enough of the clause at the time to ask about it, so it is not our responsibility to remind them of it now when it directly harms us to do so. I am strongly against giving them any heads-up about this.
Well, all we have to do is snap a screenshot of their defenders in Jericho once the clock goes under 16 hours. If Templars upgrade or promote any units after that, we email Krill the screenie and lodge an official protest. They have 2 hours remaining at this point, and it still doesn't appear that there has been any change as yet.
Kodii - I wouldn't put it past them either not to notice.
I'm reading...I would appreciate it if you point out anything amiss though, I'm not able to keep track of everything here and at SANCTA and in my exams.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.
It looks pretty good that Jericho is in the bag. I think this is a good time to discuss what Templar's have to offer to get peace from us. There are a bunch of items they could offer ...
Jericho
vassalage
open borders
50gpt for 20 turns
apology
war against Imperio
missing resources
techs
??
What would you want for peace with Templar?
Edit: Should we email them a list of demands while Imperio's 16hrs counts down?
