True Why i never got into AU games - takes too long to do DARs.

More detailed is one thing. The other thing is, I din't do it for 20, or 10 turns, I did it for (up till now) 250 turns. That's a lot of writing, believe me. But the game is very interesting - I'm not used to not going to war early.

It helps a lot, because you see your own mistakes better. Also, the games are different, because there are certain goals, that make you use things you might not use normally. I enjoy those curses very much.

I actually tried it, but it just wasn't interesting enough to hold my interest. You don't have enough room to get a decent civ going, and not being able to kill the romans or the greeks pretty much eliminates that. Also, I don't see Fascism being useful, or interesting - too late in the game, and you'd have to basically kill democracy even more to fix that. It seems just more fun to play normally

Oh, the Romans and the Greeks died anyway, just a bit later. I enjoyed the game, is all I'm saying.

Isnt this the game where you have a senate that tells you what you can and cant do?

No, this is the game where you're forbidden to start a war, and forbidden to take action within enemy territory, regardless of war or not. Basically you can defend yourself and that's it ... until you hit Fascism anyway.
